while finishing a course in Malcesine it often occured that you asked how you could effectively go on learning Italian at home over the winter. Above all there was the wish to learn just how you need it.

A. Written tasks and exercises by PDL
Every month we offer you written exercises which are developed with the PDL method. Through individually chosen short texts, stories, poems, pictures, short video clips etc. we exalt your imagination and encourage you to express yourself in a written way in Italian.
Participants will learn grammar and vocabulary in a better and longer lasting way, because they deal with content made on their own. That is the PDL principle of resonance which tells that you can learn a language better if you have a personal connection to the topics.
That’s why we will have a non binding telephone call: To fix your personal lesson contents, to state your personal needs and define your personal kind of exercises and tasks.
Your exercises are manageable and should not ask too much time from you.
Estimated expenditure of time: one or two hours per month.
Your investment: 35,- Euros per month, incl. 21% VAT.*
Iincluding: exercise, correction of max. 4 pages per month with suggestions for improvements regarding vocabulary and grammar.
* The price is orientated on common prices for correction of texts, lectorate and e-learning. A standard page corresponds 36 standard lines, 55 characters each.
B. written exercises and telephone calls
Additionally we can build up your communication skills while having dialogues via telephone. Via Skype and the use of a webcam we can even offer you classic PDL exercises, like the Doubling and can design the exercises in a very creative way. Therefor you need an internet connection and the newest version of Skype.
Estimated expenditure of time for the written exercises: one or two hours per month
Your investment: 55,- Euros per month, incl. 21% VAT.*
Iincluding: exercise, correction of maximum 4 standard pages per month with suggestions for improvements regarding vocabulary and grammar + 30 minutes of conversation via Skype or telephone.
* The price is orientated on common prices for correction of texts, lectorate and e-learning. A standard page corresponds 36 standard lines, 55 characters each.
C. only telephone
If your wish is to mainly build up your communicative abilities, we can call you regularly via telephone or Skype. Via Skype and the use of a webcam we can even offer you classic PDL exercises, like the Doubling and can design the exercises in a very creative way. Therefor you need an internet connection and the newest version of Skype.
Your investment: 35,- Euros per month, incl. 21% VAT.
Including: 45 minutes of conversation via Skype or telephone. The price is orientated on common market prices for online conversation.
Only for advanced students:
D. writing a novel in Italian.
Scrivere un romanzo a più mani.
Participants, who already have very good knowledge of the Italian language will become authors of an Italian novel which is developed and written under PDL criteria.
We accompany you in coordinating and correcting your texts. Acontatto will be responsible for the structure, regular instructions, dramaturgic aspects, the conflict, changes of matter and parameters etc. and will have an escorting function while your novel is created and developed.
The participants will be responsible for the contents. Every contribution will be accepted, that way a variety of often unexpected developments and a suspenseful proceeding.
In the beginning you will get a written exercise, this way you will be included in the novel step by step. We will correct this exercise and integrate it into the novel. While correcting we also pay attention to grammar insecurities to make a targeted involvement with the language possible.
Estimated expenditure of time: one or two hours per month.
Your investment: 40,- Euros per month, incl. 21% VAT.
Including: Exercise and execution of the coordination with suggestions regarding vocabulary and grammar. Correction of maximum 4 standard pages per month. The price is orientated on common market prices for correction of texts and lecturing.

Booking: Booking "Stay in contact"
Duration: You book the programme for the duration of one year. After a minimum of 3 months you can cancel it by the end of each month. The payment obligation remains even if you decide to not do your monthly exercises.
Payment conditions: quartlerly, semiannually or annually. Payment has to be executed in the beginning of the payment period.
